a bit of trimming here and there,
edge-stitching the top of the cuff,
top-stitching 1/4" all around, and
i'm done, and done, and done.

it isn't as easy as i made it sound just now.















all that's left are button-holes. thirteen button-
holes and thirteen buttons. for the entire production
of the shirt -- from the paper pattern to cut&sew --
button-holes are the only thing i don't do.

why?

the last time i handstitched a button-hole
for a pair of trousers took me five hours.

five hours for one button-hole. five hours. 

not that tight.
